Meet Hallie Scaggs

Founder & CEO of RevenueGuard Medical Services LLC

Hallie Scaggs, CPC, AEMT, is the Founder and CEO of RevenueGuard Medical Services LLC. With experience spanning healthcare compliance, medical coding, billing, credentialing, documentation review, auditing, and revenue cycle management, Hallie helps healthcare providers navigate the complex relationship between patient care, reimbursement, payer requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Throughout her career, Hallie has worked with major health insurance companies, conducting internal audits, reviewing clinical documentation, evaluating coding and billing practices, and assessing compliance with payer policies and regulatory standards. This experience gave her an in-depth understanding of how insurance companies review claims, identify risk, interpret documentation, and make decisions regarding payment, denials, audits, and recoupments.

Hallie's background on the payer side provides RevenueGuard clients with a valuable perspective. She understands not only how providers submit claims, but also how those claims are reviewed once they reach the insurance company. She recognizes the documentation elements payers look for, the issues most likely to trigger denials or audits, and the compliance concerns that can place a provider's revenue and reputation at risk.

By combining payer-side insight with hands-on provider support, Hallie is able to serve as a knowledgeable and effective advocate for healthcare practices. She helps providers strengthen documentation, improve coding accuracy, address reimbursement challenges, prepare for audits, and communicate more effectively with insurance companies.

Her approach combines practical revenue cycle expertise with a strong commitment to accuracy, transparency, compliance, and provider protection. Hallie works with healthcare organizations nationwide to identify revenue gaps, strengthen operational processes, reduce compliance risk, and build more efficient and financially sustainable practices.

In her own words

Why I founded RevenueGuard

I founded RevenueGuard because healthcare providers deserve more than a billing company — they deserve a trusted partner who understands both sides of the reimbursement process and recognizes that every claim affects the financial health of their practice.

My experience working with major insurance companies allowed me to see firsthand how claims, medical records, coding, and compliance concerns are evaluated from the payer's perspective. Through internal audits, documentation reviews, and compliance assessments, I gained a deeper understanding of why claims are denied, what can trigger an audit, and how documentation and billing decisions can affect a provider long after a claim has been submitted.

I also saw how difficult it can be for providers to keep up with changing payer policies, coding requirements, credentialing processes, documentation standards, and regulatory expectations while continuing to provide quality patient care.

Too often, providers lose revenue because of coding errors, denied claims, credentialing delays, documentation gaps, missed filing deadlines, and constantly changing insurance requirements. These challenges do more than disrupt cash flow. They can lead to audits, payment recoupments, compliance concerns, administrative strain, and unnecessary stress for the entire practice.

RevenueGuard was created to bridge the gap between payers and providers. By understanding how insurance companies review and process claims, we can help providers identify potential problems earlier, improve the quality of their submissions, strengthen documentation, and respond more effectively when reimbursement issues arise.

My goal is to be a strong advocate for healthcare providers while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, ethics, and compliance. I want providers to feel confident that their revenue cycle is being managed by someone who understands their challenges, knows how payers operate, and is committed to protecting both their income and their professional reputation.

At RevenueGuard, we do not simply process claims. We help providers understand the reimbursement process, prevent avoidable revenue loss, reduce compliance risk, and build stronger, more sustainable practices. We protect your revenue, advocate for your organization, and support your long-term growth so you can spend more time focusing on the patients and communities you serve.
